Coming this May, FOREPLAY will be Auckland’s most playful party of the year! A place where Australia based and internationally sought after DJ Dan Slater and Sydney’s fastest rising star, Philthy Holster, will join forces with top New Zealand DJs to bring every man and woman to musical climax; a place where dual party zones promise twice the fun!

FOREPLAY is Theta Project’s second party. After their inaugural party PROPAGANDA sold out, the boys have come out guns blazing with a badass multi-room party like no other. Taking over the Monte Cristo Room and Buena Vista Lounge, DJ Dan Slater and Philthy Holster, in their first ever New Zealand performances, will make FOREPLAY the place to see and be seen this May!

Along with surprise performances on the night, FOREPLAY will feature a stellar line-up of NZ’s finest DJ’s including Donald Bennett, Mana Tai and more, providing all the elements for a dance floor that will radiate energy that will see Auckland play like never before!

Dan Slater is an up-and-coming superstar DJ based in Sydney. His career took off when he won the Sydney Mardi Gras DJ Spin-Off Competition resulting in him spinning at the 2012 Mardi Gras Party. Since then he has gone on to wooing crowds at My House Sydney and Homesexual where he opened for Peter Rauhofer and Tony Moran. He has just finished his first European tour, PAPA Circuit tour and is one of the 2014 Mardi Gras Party headliners. Following FOREPLAY Dan will be spinning at pride parties throughout America this June, including the incredible NYC Gay Pride. His upbeat dance floor sounds bring a European energy and flavour which always impresses the crowd.

FOREPLAY will see the first ever New Zealand performance of Philthy Holster. Philthy has played at major events such as Sydney Mardi Gras and ‘In The Dark’ events with residencies held at Unity, The Colombian Hotel and the Gay Bar in Sydney. He is one incredibly talented producer and remixer! He regularly spins at ARQ and has remixes being played across the Sydney airwaves. His unique sound will be sure to impress Auckland!
