We’re kicking off gay partying in 2024 with our favourite non-stop-camp, hands-in-the-air house music rooftop party, TOP at HI-SO Rooftop Bar! The new layout and bigger dancefloor made the last TOP epic and, by all accounts, the best one yet!

We are beyond excited to announce that we are flying DJ JOELBY to New Zealand to spin an extended set at TOP — the highest gay party in the country! With over 6 hours of the best camp, vocal, disco, and hands-in-the-air house music by DJ JOELBY and DJ JORDAN ESKRA, it promises to be a fabulously glam kick-off to 2024’s gay partying!

Joelby, the creator of one of the most popular vocal house podcasts in the world, dominates the Podomatic and Apple Podcast charts in the UK, USA, Australia, and across Europe. “Joelby’s Vocal House” reached an all-time high in 2023, becoming a near-permanent fixture in the Apple Podcast charts the world over. HI-SO is the rooftop bar on top of SO/ Hotel, with stunning 360-degree views of Auckland City and harbour from the 15th floor of this luxury hotel. The entire space has been beautifully designed with no expense spared, including a massive outdoor deck overlooking the harbour – the perfect glamorous setting to watch the summer sun go down and party the night away!

We will kick off the night with sunset cocktails and sexy vocal house tunes from our resident DJ Jordan Eskra followed by an international superstar to be announced soon!

We’ll have a dedicated elevator to make accessing the party simple and easy for all you tops (and bottoms, too). There will be a hand-selected menu available from SO/’s gourmet kitchen, full bar service, and smoking permitted on the balcony.

Spaces are strictly limited – entry required before 9pm, with no re-entry permitted.

We are very honoured to be one of the few promoters allowed to hold events at HI-SO; please be respectful to the venue and staff. Any anti-social behaviour will result in removal from the venue.

No dress code or restrictions, but please keep clothes on in the lobby.

After a sell-out launch, TOP returns to the glamorous rooftop of the luxurious SO/ Hotel. The perfect finale to our big gay summer!

We’ll kick off the night with sunset cocktails and sexy vocal house tunes from one of New Zealand’s most prominent DJs, the very sexy house music legend, Karn Hall. As the sun sets we dance the night away to non-stop hands in the air camp classics and anthems from our returning favourite superstar DJ Dan Murphy from Australia, and our very own DJ Jordan Eskra, with surprise guests on the night and the return of the VS set.
